Dining experience

Environment

From the outside, it’s clear that the shop is very clean and has a calm and sophisticated atmosphere.

Menu

Their most interesting feature is that their ramen combines different fruit flavors, including

  • lemon
  • banana
  • pomelo

Dishes

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Banana。Miso $260 / Barbecued chicken Char Siu 4pc $60 Barbecued pork Char Siu 2pc $60

For a chicken broth enthusiast like me, I was really looking forward to having chicken broth, but unfortunately, they ran out 😭. So, I had to switch to miso.

Why is it called “Banana Miso“? That’s because they add banana puree to the broth. The owner suggested trying a sip of the original broth first and then mixing in the banana puree.

The miso base itself is already rich and flavorful, and after blending in the banana puree, it adds a delightful fruity fragrance to the soup!

The noodles are thick and have a hearty texture, perfect for those who enjoy a firmer bite.

As for the pork char siu ordered separately, it leans more towards a lean meat style, but I still prefer the rich flavor of fatty pork.

⭐⭐⭐Syuanrih Barbecued pork rice $70

The barbecued pork rice is quite standard, with a mayo sauce that strikes a balance between tangy and sweet.

Adding some diced purple onions not only enhances the visual appeal with vibrant colors but also helps alleviate the richness to some extent.

Conclusion

Overall, it’s a place worth visiting. The fruit-infused ramen truly gives a unique twist to what could be a typically oily ramen.

Compared to the previously mentioned Kyoto Yuzu Tonkotsu Ramen Research Center – Zhongshan Main Store, there’s a noticeable difference in the fruit flavors.

It’s worth noting that the restaurant has limited indoor seating, only seven seats available. So, if you plan to visit with a larger group, this is something to consider.
